Terms of Service

Welcome to Speclyn. By installing or using the Speclyn Shopify Application ("Application"), you ("Merchant" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall the Application immediately.

1. Description of Service

Speclyn provides AI-assisted product catalog analysis, attribute extraction, Merchant question wizard interfaces, and automated Shopify Metafield synchronization (`speclyn.specifications` JSON) designed for AI Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

2. Merchant Responsibilities

• Accuracy of Answers: The Merchant is responsible for reviewing and confirming missing attribute answers provided via the Soru Sihirbazı (Question Wizard) before syncing to Shopify Metafields.
• Shopify Compliance: Merchants must maintain an active, valid Shopify account compliant with Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy.
• Authorized Access: You warrant that you have full authorization to grant Speclyn read/write permissions for your store's product catalog.

3. Pricing, Subscriptions & Billing

All Application charges, subscription plans, and AI credit purchases are billed directly through Shopify Billing API.

• Charges appear on your standard Shopify invoice.
• Credits purchased or allocated under monthly plans reset or roll over based on plan terms specified in the Application.
• Refund requests are processed in accordance with Shopify App Store Merchant Refund guidelines.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

Merchants retain 100% ownership of their product catalogs, images, metadata, and synchronized Shopify Metafields. Speclyn retains ownership of all Application algorithms, software designs, trademarks, and AI analysis prompts.

5. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Speclyn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from store catalog modifications, third-party search engine indexing changes, or API downtime.

6. Termination

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Application from your Shopify Admin. Speclyn reserves the right to suspend or terminate service access for stores violating Shopify policies or attempting system abuse.
